The post motor filter is a washable filter but should be replaced every three (3) months. · Remove the filter cover from the front of the unit and remove the filter. · Rinse the post motor filter in lukewarm water and air dry the filter completely for 24 hours. [. . . ] When using the unit with the shoulder strap, the unit will touch the body of the user. Therefore, make sure that the unit body is cool before you use with the shoulder strap.
