[. . . ] T Digital Dual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV Owner's Manual he Digital Dual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV defines the new state of the art in radar sensing technology. [. . . ] Once the inner zone is activated, it will trigger your vehicle security system's full alarm response. The Digital Dual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV Control Panel If you feel that your system is either too sensitive (issuing "warnings" or full alarm activation too easily) or not sensitivity enough (doesn't warn or alarm when it should), you can independently change the sensitivity setting of each or both of the zones. While other manufacturer's sensors require repeated trips back to your alarm installer, the Digital Dual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV permits you to make the changes yourself, easily and accurately. continued . . The innovative sensor control panel of the Digital Dual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV makes setting sensitivity for each of the two zones a breeze. The control panel window has five LEDs: four green LEDs to indicate the 32-step sensitivity level of each zone, and a red LED on the left to confirm inner zone activation. The last green LED on the right also doubles as the outer zone activation light that visually indicates whenever the outer zone senses motion. Each green LED has 8 different steps to indicate sensitivity setting: OFF, six steps of slow to rapid flashing, and constant ON. To increase or decrease sensitivity of either the exterior or interior zone, simply do the following: 1. Select the zone you wish to adjust by sliding the "select zone" knob. [. . . ] If the other zone needs adjustment, repeat steps 1-4. © Copyright Clifford Electronics, Inc. , 1994 31-254A/DPS4OM/1294 [. . . ]
