INFORMATION AND SAFETY
s INSTALLING THE DEVICE
We recommend that you have your device fitted by a specialist. Traffic announcements may be considerably louder than normal playback. If, despite the warning instructions, you play one of these CDs, it may produce noises at a volume which is detrimental to road safety. It can also damage the amplifier and the loudspeakers.
s CLEANING
Only use a soft, anti-static duster to clean the front panel of the device. [. . . ] After the search has finished, you will hear the RDS station stored at preset position 1 (FM1).
TUNING STATIONS MANUALLY
1 Hold down »TUNE a« or »TUNE s« until »MAN« appears in the display. The manual station search is activated.

TUNING WITH THE STATION SEARCH
1 Press »RAD« to select the frequency band. Display: » FM I«, » FM II«, » FM III«, »I AM «, »II AM « or »III AM «. 2 Start the search in the desired direction by pressing »TUNE a« oder »TUNE s« briefly. 4 Keep pressing »a« or »s« until the number of the track you want to hear appears in the display.
s PLAYBACK PAUSE
1 During playback press »CD« briefly. 2 Press »CD« to resume playback.
s PLAYING BACK TRACKS IN RANDOM ORDER (RANDOM)
1 Press »RAND« briefly during playback. Display: briefly »RDM ON«, then the number of the station button »3«. The tracks are played back in random order.

1 Insert a CD in the CD compartment. Display: briefly »READ«, then »T01 0:00« and » DISC «;
s REPEATING TRACKS (REPEAT)
1 Press »RPT« briefly during playback. Display: briefly »RPT TRK«, then the number of the station button »5«. The current track is repeated constantly.

4 Start playback of the track by pressing »AS/OK« until the track appears in the display, for example, »025- 00. 00«.

Once the MP3 data is scanned, the total number of tracks appears in the display. During playback the display changes between the name of the track, or the artist and the track number.

3 Scroll through the tracks using the control dial »VOL«. [. . . ] Plugged in (Fig 6).
A 6 If A 6 is connected to terminal 58 of the vehicle, the brightness of the buttons and display lighting on the device will be reduced when the vehicle lights are switched on.
A 4 +12 V operating voltage connection (minimum cross-section 2. 5 mm2 for positive and earth connection). In this case the radio must always be switched on and off with »I/O«.

INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
A 2 Phone mute connection. If you are using a connected car phone, the device is muted and "TEL MUTE" appears in the display. Note A 2 must be earthed from the Mute output of the car phone/ radio phone.
