In order to remove all residues before initial use, please pass the iron a few times over an old clean cloth. Fill the water tank by the filling aperture (9) with not more than one litre of pure water. NOTE: If no steam comes out when the first time the machine is used and all instructions have been followed, keep the pump button pressed (3) for approx. One minute so that the water is pumped from the water tank into the iron. Ironing without Steam The clothes to be ironed should be sorted out according to their ironing temperature. Insert the plug into a correctly installed safety power socket, 230 V, 50 Hz. As soon as the control lamp goes off the operating temperature has been reached. With the button (6) it is possible to produce a short, powerful jet of steam. The lifetime of the anti-limestone cartridge (9) depends on the frequency of use and the hardness of the water. it is recommended that if the water hardness is 2 and the average ironing time approx.
