If you inadvertently select the "Open folder to view files" option instead, you can still install the drivers by double-clicking the "Setup. exe" application manually.
2. Whether you click "Run Setup. exe" in the AutoPlay window or double-click the "Setup. exe" (with the "WL" icon) after opening the folder, either way the application must be run to install the drivers and supporting software so that the adapter can function properly under Windows 7.
3. When the setup application is running, select "Yes" to allow the running of the Atheros Communications software when the User Account Control (UAC) windows are displayed.
