Whenever work is performed in the ignition system, always make sure the ignition switch is set to "1" and the battery disconnected, unless otherwise indicated (when disconnecting the battery, disconnect the negative pole "" first). aCAUTION All measurements must be taken with the components at a temperature of 20 C (68 F). General instructions regarding the elimination of faults: as soon as the fault has been located, remove the defective component. 4. 7. 12 COOLANT THERMISTORS 4. 7. 8 DRIVING SHAFT POSITION SENSOR Fault code "12".
