[. . . ] to -8- · Restrain the measuring tape , in that you slide the tape lock downwards. · When you want to rewind the measuring tape , hold the end firmly and slide the tape lock upwards. · Now permit the measuring tape to rewind slowly, without letting go of it. -9- Using the laser Injury Hazard!· Do NOT direct the laser beam at strongly reflective material. You can use a standard commercial tripod with a 3/8" thread (for example, a camera tripod). - 10 - · Screw the measuring tape onto the tripod with the tripod thread . · Align the Measuring Tape with Marking Laser such that the bubbles in the spirit levels and lie exactly between the markings. · Turn the covering flap all the way to the left or right, dependant on whether you wish to project a vertical or a horizontal line. - 11 - · Direct the laser line onto the desired wall. If you direct the laser beam in horizontal adjustment into a corner, the laser beams on both walls and in the corner are at exactly the same distance from the floor (see Fig. 2: 3 Point measurement).
