· The quality setting is retained even when the camera is turned off or the mode setting is changed. · In r Movie mode, you cannot set the S (sensitivity) setting and FinePix COLOR setting. · See p. 147 for information on recording times per xDPicture Card or internal memory.
CAUTION
If you shoot using the xD-Picture Cards with model numbers containing "M" such as DPC-M1GB, movie recording time may be reduced if you repeatedly record and erase (frame erase) image files. In such a case, erase all frames or format the xD-Picture Card before use. Back up important frames (files) onto your PC or another media.

Control
Description Playback begins. Press p or q while playback is stopped to go back to the previous file or advance to the next file respectively. Press p or q during playback to skip forwards or backwards through the movie. Press p or q when the movie is paused, the movie advances or goes back one frame. Hold down p or q to move through the frames quickly.

If the subject of the shot is very bright, white vertical streaks or black horizontal streaks may appear in the image during playback. This is normal.

Volume can be adjusted while playing back movies.

CAUTION
· You may not be able to play back some movie files recorded on other cameras. · To play back movie files on a PC, save the movie file on the xD-Picture Card or internal memory to the PC's hard disk and then play back the saved file. The sound is difficult to hear.

SET-UP menu option
Setting Display Factory default Explanation Sets the way for displaying the check image screen (photograph result) after taking a picture. Specifies whether frame numbers are assigned consecutively from previous numbers or begin again. Sets whether the illumination lamp lights at startup and after shooting is complete.
