Joist covered with ice, water, saw dust, snow, mud or other foreign materials should be cleaned prior to application. Installation Place adhesive cartridge into standard one quart dispenser, then cut the tip of cartridge nozzle at a slant to desired bead diameter. Puncture inner seal with nail or wire and apply adhesive in a continuous bead. Apply only as much CA3400 Subfloor Adhesive as can be covered within 20 minutes, and use a 1/4" zig zag bead when laminating underlayment to joists.
