Erasing the Entire Internal Phone Book 1. If you're sure you want to erase your phone book, highlight Yes and press . Resetting your Phone Resetting your Sprint PCS Phone will restore all the factory defaults, including ringer types, display settings, etc. However, your Call History, Internal Phone Book and Messages will not be affected. If you're sure you want to reset your phone, highlight Yes and press .

Resetting and Locking your Phone through SMS When your phone is lost or stolen, you can erase your important personal information (such as phone book entries, call history and messages) and lock your phone by sending a special formatted SMS message to your phone. Send the following format from your computer: \\RESET <Passcode> RESET <Passcode> your defined passcode. Default Passcode is 11-digit ESN (Electronic Serial Number) which is described on the package or phone itself. The locked phone will display the following message: "If found, please call Sprint PCS Customer Care at 1-888-217-4727".
To activate this feature, following presetting is required: 1. To unlock the phone locked through SMS when you get back your phone, bring the phone to Sprint PCS Retail Store.

Use the Calendar to remind you of events or important calls you need to make. You can schedule up to 100 events, 15 Call Alarms and 20 To-Do Items.

To further edit the event, follow these options: Set Location Editing the location of your event. Edit Alarm Entering the number of hours or minutes before the event starts. Beep or Voice Alarm , and press If you do not want to be reminded, select No Alarm .
