[. . . ] Thank you for your purchase of an ES-E28 Slide Copying Adapter for Nikon digital cameras. [. . . ] Screw the adapter into the threaded section in front of the camera lens. Loosen the locking screw and rotate the head of the adapter until the holder insertion slot is parallel with the camera's horizontal axis (Figure 1). If the film has curl or is placed at an angle to the holder, parts of the resulting photograph may not be in focus. When using an incandescent light source, keep the adapter at least thirty centimeters (one foot) from the bulb. If the adapter is placed too close to an incandescent light bulb or left too long in its vicinity, the heat may damage the film or deform the holder. The basic camera settings used when taking photographs with the Slide Copying Adapter are listed in the following table: M-REC Macro close-up Flash Cancel (off) E990 Aperture Priority Auto (A), aperture f 45 Aperture Priority Auto (A), middle aperture setting Auto 100 Auto white balance or white balance set using preset white balance option With the image in the LCD monitor as your guide, use the zoom buttons to adjust the picture angle. [. . . ] Press the shutter-release button all the way down to record the photograph. [. . . ]
