Windows OS--if the install window does not appear, choose Run from the Start menu and type d:\setup. exe where d is the drive letter that contains the CD. Mac OS X--double-click the CD icon on the desktop, then click the Install icon. Windows OS--select Complete to automatically install the most commonly used applications. NOTE: When prompted, take a few minutes to electronically register your camera and software. This lets you receive information regarding software updates and registers some of the products included with the camera. You must be connected to your Internet service provider to register electronically. " White Balance Choose your lighting condition. The setting is displayed on the right side of Liveview if set to Daylight, Tungsten, or Fluorescent. Standard (default) Fine NOTE: The Fine setting renders a larger file size. Auto (default)--automatically corrects white balance. Ideal for indoor pictures under tungsten or halogen lighting without flash. P, A, S, M, C: This setting remains until you change it or take pictures. The setting is displayed on the right side of Liveview if set to Center-weight or Center-spot.
