To get the most out of your dishwasher's features, we recommend that you read the Use and Care Guide. THE CONTROL PANEL PROGRAMS AND OPTIONS To select a program, simply turn the control knob to the appropriate program number. [. . . ] If it is set to Lo (depressed), the main wash and final rinses are heated to 130° F. Heated fan dry Releasing this button activates the heating element for a short period after the final rinse to dry the dishes faster. 4 5 CHANGING A PROGRAM If you decide to change the program after you have started the machine, simply turn the control knob to the desired program. The machine will drain so the new program will start with clean water. (Note: You should not change a program once it is in the main wash cycle. ) AMOUNT OF DISHWASHING DETERGENT TO USE We recommend that you use only unscented, granular automatic dishwashing detergent. Generally, one tablespoon of detergent is needed for a normal wash load. Also, the amount of detergent needed can vary due to differences in water hardness. (See page 5. ) In any case, you should never use more than three tablespoons of detergent. QUICK START PROCEDURES 1. Simply scrape off large food particles before you load the dishware. ) 2.
