Temperature alarm
If the temperature in the freezer compartment becomes too warm (approx. -9 °C) and the frozen food is at risk, the "alarm" indicator lights up, figure "/3. Once it is connected, the appliance is switched on and the green indicator figure "/4 lights up. If the red indicator lights up (figure "/3), this means that the temperature in the appliance is too high and you must only put frozen food in the freezer once this red indicator has gone out. N

Setting the temperature

When you switch on the appliance, the temperature for the freezer compartment is automatically set to approx. If you cannot open the lid immediately after closing the chest, please wait for two to three minutes until the resulting vacuum has been compensated for. Freezing capacity

Freezing fresh food
Only use fresh, undamaged food for freezing. In order to retain the nutritional value, aroma and colour of the food as much as possible, blanch vegetables before they are frozen. Polyethylene bags and hose film can be fused closed using a bag sealer. SuperFreezing
Food should be frozen thoroughly as quickly as possible. This ensures that vitamins, nutritional value, appearance and taste are retained. To ensure that there is no undesired rise in temperature while you are placing fresh food in the freezer, switch on the SuperFreezing function a few hours beforehand.
