Children in the household
If fitted, use the childproof lock. These may cause chemical burns in the mouth, throat and eyes or asphyxiation. The temperature is increased during the rinsing process. chopping boards and baby bottles.
Switching on the appliance
Turn on the tap fully. This programme remains selected if no other programme button 2 is pressed. The programme starts running.
IntensiveZone *
Perfect for a mixed load. You can wash very soiled pots and pans in the lower basket together with normally soiled utensils in the upper basket. The spray pressure in the lower basket is intensified, the rinsing temperature is increased slightly.
Extra drying *
An increased temperature during the final rinse and an extended drying phase mean that even plastic parts dry well. There is a slight increase in the energy consumption.

Remaining running time display
When the programme is selected, the remaining running time of the programme is indicated on the digital display 10 . The running time is determined during the programme by the water temperature, the number of utensils as well as the degree of soiling and may vary (depending on the selected programme). Warning At the end of the programme please open the door fully and not partially when emptying the dishwasher. If required, refill salt and/or rinse-aid.

Filters
The filters 26 keep large foreign objects in the rinsing water away from the pump. The filter system consists of a coarse filter, a flat fine filter and a microfilter. Unscrew filter cylinder as illustrated and take out filter system.
Spray arms
Limescale and contaminants in the rinsing water may block nozzles and bearings on the spray arms 23 and 24 . Remove the lower spray arm 24 upwards.
Clean spray arms under running water. Re-engage or screw on spray arms.
Remove any residue and clean filters under running water. Re-install filter system in reverse sequence and ensure that the arrow marks are opposite each other after closing the filter system.

Waste water pump
Large food remnants in the rinsing water not retained by the filters may block the waste water pump. Using a spoon, prise off pump cover (as illustrated) until it clicks, then grip the cover by the lug and first pull it upwards until it resists and then pull it out forwards.
Troubleshooting
Experience has shown that you can rectify most faults which occur in daily operation without calling customer service. Obviously this will save on costs and ensure that the machine is quickly available again. The following overview should help you locate the causes of faults which may occur. Warning If fault code (E01 to E30) is indicated on the digital display 10 , first disconnect the appliance from the power supply. You can rectify certain faults yourself (see following fault description), for all other faults please contact customer service and state the indicated fault E:XX. Electrical connection
Connect the appliance to an alternating current only, ranging from 220 V to 240 V and 50 Hz or 60 Hz via a correctly installed socket with protective earth conductor. The socket must be near the appliance and freely accessible following installation. Use only a residual-current-operated circuit-breaker which features the symbol. Only this extension guarantees compliance with the currently valid regulations.
