When an outside call is being received, the caller information is displayed. Caller information for the last 50 callers is logged in the caller list from the most recent call to the oldest. R If the unit cannot receive caller information, the following is displayed: – “Out of area”: The caller dials from an area which does not provide a Caller ID service. – “Private caller”: The caller requests not to send caller information. “Long distance”: The caller makes a long distance call. Caller ID number auto edit feature
Once you call back an edited number, the unit which was used to call back remembers the area code and format of the edited number. The next time someone calls from the same area code, caller information is customized by the unit as follows: – When the call is being received, the Caller ID number is displayed in the same format as the edited number. After the call has ended, the caller’s phone number is displayed in the same format as the edited number, when reviewed from the caller list. Phonebook name display
