Customizing your lock screen
You can customize your lock screen to show your preferred photo, a photo slideshow, app updates, and quickly access your ASUS Tablet’s camera. To change the settings of your lock screen, you may refer to the following information:
Selecting a photo
1. Under the Lock screen preview, click Browse to select the photo you would like to use as a background on your lock screen. Under the Lock screen preview, move the Play a slide show on the lock screen slide bar to On. Scroll down to customize the following options for your lock screen’s slideshow:

The Power-On Self-Test (POST)
The Power-On Self-Test (POST) is a series of software-controlled diagnostic tests that run when you turn on or restart your ASUS Tablet. The software that controls the POST is installed as a permanent part of the ASUS Tablet’s architecture. Using POST to access BIOS and Troubleshoot
During POST, you can access the BIOS settings or run troubleshooting options using the volume button on your ASUS Tablet. BIOS
The Basic Input and Output System (BIOS) stores system hardware settings that are needed for system startup in the ASUS Tablet. The default BIOS settings apply to most conditions of your ASUS Tablet. Do not change the default BIOS settings except in the following circumstances: • • An error message appears onscreen during system bootup and requests you to run the BIOS Setup. You have installed a new system component that requires further BIOS settings or updates. wARNING: Using inappropriate BIOS settings may result to system instability or boot failure. We strongly recommend that you change the BIOS settings only with the help of a trained service personnel. Turn on your ASUS Tablet then press the power button and the volume down button during POST. Use the volume button to select items on the BIOS screen, then press the Windows key to enter a selected item or tap it using the touch screen panel. BIOS Settings
