[. . . ] The control switches are located on the hoods front panel: 3 1 Fig. 2 ab 2 4 5 6 7 1 - ON (stand-by - illuminated key) / OFF switch. Press once or more to obtain the function desired: Stand-by (dot "b" on the display is illuminated): the hood is ready to function, the safety procedure is activated (see next page Safety procedure). 2 - Light ON/OFF 3 - Display 4 - Manual(stand by)/Automatic (sensors - Led S will illuminate). Press once to switch ON the Automatic mode, press again to switch OFF (stand-by / Manual mode). Automatic function: The hood switch ON (extraction) on the basis of the change in the normal environmental conditions that the hood notices through its sensors (see next page Sensor test) . The leds of the display will turn on alternatively in proportion to the suction power setting. The hood is equipped with an automatic system that establishes what the normal environmental conditions are. In the case of abnormal operation, calibration can be carried out automatically or manually (see next page Automatic calibration and Manual calibration). The Intensive speed runs for 5 minutes: If the hood is on when the Intensive speed is activated, the hood will revert to previous speed after 5 minutes. If the hood is off when the Intensive speed is activated, the hood 68 will automatically turn off after 5 minutes. 70 Grease and charcoal filter maintenance indicator - DD 8990 - 8861 - 8891 - 8821 This hood is fitted with a device that indicates when it is necessary to clean the grease filter or the charcoal filter (if the hood is used in the recirculation version with a charcoal filter). On delivery, the hood is not supplied with a charcoal filter, so the saturation indicator will be disabled. 4 Should the hood or the controls fail to operate: disconnect the power supply for at least 5 seconds, then turn the hood back on again. 72 Grease and charcoal filter maintenance indicator DD 8695-8665-8625 This hood is fitted with a device that indicates when it is necessary to clean the grease filter or the charcoal filter (if the hood is used in the recirculation version with a charcoal filter). On delivery, the hood is not supplied with a charcoal filter, so the saturation indicator will be disabled. If the hood is to be used with a charcoal filter, the saturation indicator light must be enabled as follows: Set the hood in OFF. Pressing keys B and D simultaneously for three seconds, LED F lights up and begins to flash the 1st speed led. After 1 second the 2nd speed led also flashes and the system emits a sound signal (-Beep-) to indicate setting taking place. To remove the charcoal filter signal press push buttons B and D simultaneously for 3 seconds. LED F lights up and begins to flash the 1st speed led (grease filter) and the 2nd speed led. The system emits a sound signal (-Beep-) to indicate setting taking place. Grease filter LED The 1st speed led (+ led F) flashes, when it is time to clean the grease filter. [. . . ] The manufacturing number (F-Nr. ) This information is shown on the registration plate inside the unit behind the grease filter.
