[. . . ] In the event of flooding or leakage, shut off the water supply immediately by closing the stopcock and disconnect the power supply by unplugging the power cord or removing the fuse. There is always a certain risk of leakages in any machine connected to a water supply, no matter what water safety features it may have. Therefore it is advisable always to turn off the water supply tap when the machine is not in use. G G G G G G G G Disposal - packaging: All materials used in packaging this appliance are environmentally-friendly. The various plastics used are identified and can be recycled: G G Child Safety G The dishwasher should be used by adults only. [. . . ] Remember that the instructions usually refer to full-size dishwashers, for example when using detergent tablets, it is sufficient to use just half a tablet. Only use detergents specially designed for dishwashers. Spray arm 2 It is important to keep all the holes in the spray arm clear. If the spray arm needs cleaning, unscrew the nut clockwise, remove the washer and lift off the spray arm. Clear the holes and shake out any food remnants. -4- The control panel Programme lamps 1 2 On/Off button Programme selection/ Delay start Cancel button button Control lamps Programme selection/cancel button is used to: · select the programme · deactivate/activate the audible signal · cancel a dishwashing cycle Control lamps: Shows that: · Wash cycle in progress · Drying in progress · Programme cycle ended The programme cycle ended lamp has also other functions of visual signalling: · when deactivating/activating the audible signal · with malfunction of the machine Audible signal Audible signal have been introduced to help indicate which operations the dishwasher is performing: · end of washing programme · malfunction of the machine 2. Press the programme selection/cancel button and hold it pressed until indicator lamp 1 starts to flash and lamp 2 lights up. Directly after press the programme button again, lamp 1 will change from flashing to continual illumination and goes out after approx. Lamp 2 starts to flash and the indicator for the ended programme cycle goes on. Press the button once more and the lamp for the ended programme cycle goes out. To activate the function again, follow steps above, until the lamp for the ended programme cycle goes on again. Deactivation/activation of the audible signal The audible signal is activated when leaving the factory. To deactivate the signal: With the dishwasher switched off, press in the On/Off button. If one of the programme lamps is illuminated, this wash programme is activated. 15 minutes before removing the dishes, so that they dry better and cool down. Be careful if you open the door immediately after the programme is finished, since hot steam may escape. Cleaning the dishwasher Clean the outside surfaces of the appliance using a mild (non-abrasive) household cleaning product. Do not use cleaning products which contain alcohol (spirits), thinners and similar substances. Interrupting the programme temporarily 1. Open the door carefully when the dishwasher is running, since hot steam may escape. Cancelling the programme 1. Is the rinse aid dispenser empty? Dishes not washed satisfactorily. Visible lime deposits or white film on the dishes. The door is difficult to close. · Is the rinse aid dispenser adjusted to too low dosage?· Is the rinse aid dispenser empty or adjusted to too low dosage?· Is the dishwasher level? -9- In the event of a fault With help of the sound signals and flashing lamps on the panel, it's possible that you can solve the problem yourself. When the problem is solved, press in the button for the disrupted programme and the programme continues. In the case of other fault messages: · Interrupt the dishwashing cycle. If the problem occurs again, contact your local service centre, stating the fault message. Fault The indicator lamps for the selected programme and for the ended programme cycle is flashing and 1 short warning signal is emitted: (Problems with the water supply). [. . . ] Its height can be adjusted with the adjustable feets (8 mm each). Water inlet The temperature of the water supply should not exceed 65° C and the pressure should be between 50-1000 kPa (0, 5 - 10 bar). It is important to have a tap or stopcock, positioned close to the dishwasher and with easy access. Special mixer taps with dishwasher connections are available, as well as adaptors for older mixer taps. If it is too short, the entire hose must be replaced with a longer high-pressure hose, specially designed for the purpose. [. . . ]
