We as manufacturers, however, see ourselves as being obliged to familiarise you with the following safety instructions. It is most important that this instruction book should be retained with the appliance for future reference. [. . . ] If the appliance is fully loaded and the dishes heavily soiled, the "prewash"", main wash", and "rinse" phases of the programme are longer and the water consumption level is higher. For this reason the programme duration, water and energy consumption levels can vary within the stated range for AUTOMATIC programme (see "Washing programmes chart"). During the "AUTOMATIC" programme the temperature of the main wash water is also automatically adjusted between 50°C and 65°C depending on the amount of soil on the dishes. 26 Water (litres) Intermediate Final rinse Drying Operating instructions Starting a washing programme 1. Check that the baskets have been loaded correctly and that the spray arms can rotate freely 2. Press the On/Off push button The On/Off indicator light illuminates. 5. Setting and starting the programme To select a programme, press the push button of the programme you wish to select, the indicator light of the push button illuminates and in the digital display will appear, flashing, the running time of the programme that has been set (in minutes). After about 3 seconds from the last pressure of a push button the programme starts automatically. In the digital display the running time of the programme is no longer flashing and the programme in progress indicator light remains illuminated. Setting and starting the programme with the delay start The setting of the delay start occurs before selecting the programme Press the delay start push button until the flashing number of the hours for the delay start will appear in the digital display (from 1h to 19h). In the digital display will appear, for a moment, the running time of the programme and then again appears the selected delay start time. As soon as the number of hours is displayed without flashing, the countdown for the delay start is active. The opening of the door during the countdown will not modify the delay start. 27 Operating instructions Once the delay start has elapsed the programme will start automatically. Water may appear on the sides and the door of the dishwasher as the stainless steel will eventually become cooler then the dishes. When the washing programme has finished, it is recommended that the dishwasher is unplugged and the water tap turned off. "3 in 1" function This function can be selected together with all programmes. Place the "3 in 1" combi detergent tablet in the detergent dispenser. Press the "On/Off" push button: the On/Off indicator light illuminates. Press the "3 in 1" function push button: the correspondent indicator light illuminates. Remember that if this function is selected, it will remain active also for the following programmes, until it will be deactivated by pressing the "3 in 1" function push button (indicator light off). Select the required washing programme, after about 3 seconds the programme will start automatically. Once the programme is running, the "3 in 1" function can NO longer be changed. If you want to exclude the "3 in 1" function you have to cancel the programme setting (see "To cancel a washing programme in progress") and then deactivate the "3 in 1" function by pressing the "3 in 1" push button. With the use of "3 in 1" combi detergent tablets, the cycle durations given in the "Washing programmes" chart may change. 30 Operating instructions Maintenance and cleaning Clean the external surfaces of the machine and control panel with a damp soft cloth. Never use abrasive products, scouring pads or solvent (acetone, trichloroethylene etc. . . . ). [. . . ] The dishwasher is fitted with safety devices that prevent the wash water returning into the drinking water system and comply with the applicable plumbing regulations. 42 Installation instructions Water inlet hose with safety valve After connecting the double-walled water inlet hose, the safety valve is next to the tap. Therefore the water inlet hose is only under pressure while the water is running. If the water inlet hose starts to leak during this operation, the safety valve cuts off the running water. Please take care when installing the water inlet hose: - The electrical cable for the safety valve is in the double-walled water inlet hose. - If water inlet hose or the safety valve is damaged, remove the mains plug immediately.
