The mechanical s-bag® indicator window will gradually turn red when filling and completely red when full. This automatically seals the dustbag and prevents dust from leaking out of the bag. We recommend the Classic Long Performance s-bag® is changed after using a carpet cleaning powder or if there is a bad smell from the cleaner. A safety device is fitted which prevents the cover closing without a dust bag in place. The filters should be changed/cleaned approximately every fifth dust bag. Lift up the old filter and replace it with a new one, ensuring it is securely in place, and close cover. Replace the old filter with a new one ensuring it is securely in place and the cover is properly closed. The HEPA H12 filter should be cleaned (washable HEPA filter only) or replaced when the indicator light is on* or every fifth dust bag*. When the filter indicator (47)* comes on with a red light, the filter should be changed. To check the filter indicator, the cleaner must be switched on and the nozzle lifted from the floor. Rinse the inside (dirty side) of the filter unit under warm tap water only. Replace the unit back into the cleaner and close cover ensuring it is properly fastened.
