[. . . ] BIOS SETUP 4. 5. 1 Power Up Control AC PWR Loss Restart [Disabled] This allows you to set whether you want your system to reboot after the power has been interrupted. [Disabled] leaves your system off and [Previous State] sets your system back to the state it is in before the power interruption. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Previous State] PWR Up On Modem Act [Enabled] This allows either settings of [Enabled] or [Disabled] for powering up the computer when the modem receives a call while the computer is in Soft-off mode. NOTE: The computer cannot receive or transmit data until the computer and applications are fully running. Turning an external modem off and then back on while the computer is off causes an initialization string that will also cause the system to power on. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] Wake On LAN [Disabled] Wake-On-LAN/PCI Modem allows your computer to be booted from another computer via a network by sending a wake-up frame or signal. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] IMPORTANT: This feature requires an optional network interface card with WakeOn-LAN and an ATX power supply with at least 720mA +5V standby power. 4. You may configure your system to power up at a certain time of the day by selecting [Everyday] or at a certain time and day by selecting [By Date]. NOTE: Automatic Power Up will not work if the system is powered down by operating systems, such as Windows 98, which have ACPI support enabled. By using the <+> or <Space> key, you can promote devices and by using the <-> key, you can demote devices. Promotion or demotion of devices alters the priority which the system uses to search for a boot device on system power up. Configuration fields include Removable Devices, IDE Hard Drive, ATAPI CD-ROM, and Other Boot Device.
