SSI power connectors (24-pin ATXPWR1, 8-pin ATX12V1) These connectors connect to an SSI-type 12V power supply. The plugs from the power supply are designed to fit these connectors in only one orientation. Find the proper orientation and push down firmly until the connectors completely fit. In addition to the 24-pin power connector, this motherboard requires that you connect the 8-pin +12V power plug to provide sufficient power to the CPU. 1. Make sure that your power supply can provide 8A on the +12V lead and at least 1A on the +5-volt standby lead (+5VSB). The system may become unstable or may not boot up if the power is inadequate. 24-pin Power Connector +3 Volts +3 Volts Ground +5 Volts Ground +5 Volts Ground Power OK +5V Standby +12 Volts +12 Volts +3 Volts 8-pin GND GND GND GND +3 Volts -12 Volts Ground PSON# Ground Ground Ground -5 Volts +5 Volts +5 Volts +5 Volts Ground 1 PCH-DR PCH-DR Power Connectors For Power Supply with 20-pin Power Connector 9.
