Your BGM2 will be one of these models: BGM2-DCD : Dual CD/MP3 players BGM2-DT : Dual AM/FM tuners BGM2-TCD : 1 AM/FM Tuner and 1 CD/MP3 player INTRODUCTION FRONT PANEL BACK PANEL SPECIFICATIONS 3 4 6 7 The following diagrams show a BGM2-TCD which has both module types for explanatory purpose. FRONT PANEL - CD/MP3 PLAYER 15 1 8 2 9 3 10 4 11 5 12 6 13 7 14 ON LED This LED indicates that the unit is powered from the mains. CD/MP3 player 1 POWER 6 PLAY/PAUSE 11 RANDOM Turns only this CD/MP3 player on or off. Plays and pauses the track. 2 PROG 7 EJECT This works with conventional CD's only and does not apply to MP3 recorded disks. Allows you to program up to 20 tracks to play in the order you program. The program order is not saved and will be cleared when you press STOP. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to change track and press PROG to move to the next program slot. While in program mode, "Pxx" on the LCD display indicates the program order position. While in program play mode, "Pxx" on the LCD display indicates the actual track number. Once an order position ("Pxx" in program mode) has been entered it cannot be changed. Pressing PROG while the track indicator reads "-" cycles you through the program order. Selecting UP/DOWN changes the track number but pressing PROG again will put that track in the next program position. Ejects the disk. Pressing this button while a disk is ejecting returns the disk to the player. 8 FILE MP3 This works with MP3 recorded disks only and does not apply to conventional CD's. Pressing UP or DOWN moves the Track indicator on the LCD display up or down folders, if files had been copied to disk containing a tree or directory structure. Pressing play will advance to the first song in that folder/directory and change the track indicator to the number of that track. The LCD display will indicate "ROOT" (as in ROOT directory) when in folder scan mode. Sub folders appear as sequential numbers at the parent folder number position. Adding folders and files to existing material gives unpredictable order results. This works with conventional CD's only and does not apply to MP3 recorded disks. Pressing RANDOM while the CD is playing turns the random shuffle off and the CD continues playing as normal through sequential tracks. [. . . ] Use +5 to select 6-10. BGM2 PROGRAM SOURCE SERIES INSTALLATION & OPERATION MANUAL PAGE 5 BACK PANEL Left side - Back Panel 1 4 3 Right side - Back Panel 2 1 DIRECT STEREO OUTPUTS 3 ANTENNA These outputs provide direct signal from the modules. These terminals provide connections for the antenna of each band. There will be two strips of terminals on the BGM2-DT, one for each module. 2 PRIORITY 4 The BGM2 features a STEREO PRIORITY OUTPUT, in addition to the separate Direct Stereo outputs for the modules. The Priority Output will output the signal from the secondary module until signal appears on the primary module. BGM2-DCD: CD2 has priority over CD1 BGM2-DT: TUNER2 has priority over TUNER1 BGM2-TCD: CD has priority over TUNER Signal from the secondary module will return automatically, once the primary module falls silent.
