The Matrix 3 Series 2 is a floorstanding loudspeaker system comprising one 8-in bass unit, one 8-in bass/midrange with polypropylene cones and one 1-in metal domed high frequency tweeter.

Driver protection: The method used for driver protection against excessive overload is simplicity itself. Once dangerous input levels are reached the patent APOC circuit disconnects the tweeter alerting the listener to reduce the volume.
