For your own safety and that of your child, always put the child in the child car seat, however short your journey may be. Ensure that the straps under the stomach lie as low as possible, to properly support the pelvis. [. . . ] If in any doubt about the correct installation or use of the system, the user is advised to contact the distributor or the manufacturer of the child restraining device system. Do not use this car seat rearward facing, where front impact AIRBAGS are fitted and armed. You may be able to deactivate it (see instruction book supplied with your vehicle). If so, and you are able to deactivate the airbag, you can use it facing forwards in your vehicle. This device should be used only on approved vehicles equipped with 3 point/static/inertia reel seat-belts that are approved in accordance with EEC/UN regulation N° 16 or other equivalent standard. For the comfort and safety of your child, pull the front passenger seat forwards. The harness should be adjusted to the size of the child by adjusting the shoulder straps. The lowest position of the harness straps (A) should be used with the small protectors of your seat (voir page 12). 1 - Regulate the semi-reclining position by turning the grey button on the left as far as it will go. To help the belt pass through the blue hooks, we advise you to put the car seat in upright position. Once you have done this, always check that the strap is properly positioned in the blue loops. 3 - Fasten together parts (a) and (b), and then push them into the buckle (c) until you hear a Click!4 - Pull firmly on the chest pads on the shoulder straps to put them in the proper place. TAKING THE CHILD OUT 6 - Press the adjuster while pulling on the harness shoulder straps (hold the shoulder straps and not the chest pads). 7 - Fasten the harness shoulder straps and the buckle cover to their hooks. Turn the grey button to the right to move the seat into upright position. Turn the grey button to the left to recline the seat To move the sides apart, turn the black button to the right. Before dismantling, note carefully where all the various parts are on the child seat so that everything can be reassembled properly. 1 - Loosen the shoulder straps and release the harness buckle, and then put the seat in the reclined position. 2 - Pass the catch plates for the harness waist straps through the seat shell (on the right and on the left under the seat of the car seat). 4 - Unfasten the harness buckle and pass the catch plate through the seat of the car seat. Before cleaning check the label sewn into the fabric, you will find the wash symbols indicating the method of washing each item.
