Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Move the front seat of the car forward as far as possible so that the baby does not hit it. The manufacturer's liability is limited to what is covered under the European Regulation (R44/04). This approval does not remove the necessity for care and respect for the Highway Code. After putting the child in the car seat, ensure that the car seatbelt is sufficiently taut by pulling the belt. [. . . ] Once you have done this, always check that the strap is properly positioned in the blue loops. 7 - Pass the diagonal belt behind the back of the seat, thread it through the loops (a) and (b) and pull hard on the strap to make sure it is tight (c) and (d). The lowest position of the harness straps (A) should be used with the small protectors of your seat. 4 - Press the latch and pull the shoulder straps out as far as possible. 6 - Pull on the straps from the front of the seat to remove them from the protectors. For easier access to the upper apertures of the seat back, put the seat in the seated position. For easier access to the lower apertures of the seat back, put the seat in the semi-reclining position. 9 - Run the straps back through the inside of the two protectors and put them through the corresponding apertures on the seat back. * The child seat must be placed on the rear seat of the vehicle or exceptionally on the front seat depending on the current legislation in the country of use. This device should be used only on approved vehicles equipped with 3 point/static/inertia reel seat-belts that are approved in accordance with EEC/UN regulation N° 16 or other equivalent standard. For your baby's safety and comfort, move the passenger seat forwards. Before installing the seat, we advise you to raise the latch so as not to damage the seat of your vehicle. The harness should be adjusted to the size of the child by adjusting the shoulder straps. (pages 12-15) Only install the large covers when using positions (B) (C) and (D). 1 - Adjust to semi-reclining position by turning the grey button on the left as far as it will go. 3 - Pass the seat-belt between the base and the seat of the child seat. 4 - Take the seat-belt from the other side of the car seat and fasten securely. Harness through the opposite side of the vehicle buckle only and fasten it. 6 - Tighten the seat-belt by pulling very firmly on the diagonal strap (the strap buckle has a non-return mechanism to keep the strap taut). 7 - Slide the seat-belt through the seat-belt lock at the top of the car seat backrest and pull it tight. IMPORTANT : you have completed the installation of the child car seat, with the 3 point car safety belt. PLACE THE CHILD IN THE CHILD SEAT 1 - Fasten the harness shoulder straps and the buckle cover to their hooks. [. . . ] GB For restraining devices with the ISOFIX version, please consult the NOTES FOR THE USER on the back page of the instructions. More so than with any other product, a restraining device (carrycot or car seat) must be properly fitted. Facing or with its back to the road, a seat should support the child's body perfectly, be comfortable and simple for parents to install. From the very beginning, Dorel has been concerned about child safety, and designs eminently suitable seats in accordance with the latest European regulations. [. . . ]
