If you have received just one SMS, this SMS is displayed immediately and you can then read it. Proceed as described in "Options for SMS read aloud" on page 122. X Press . 5101 If you have received one or more new messages, you will find the 'LVSOD\ QHZ 606 entry displayed as the first fast access entry. X If more than one SMS has been received, the SMS fast access function is opened. Please see "Reading SMS" on page 121 for a description of how to proceed. Select the 'LVSOD\ QHZ 606 entry. 120 Mail messages Calling up SMS fast access function In the SMS fast access function, the SMS messages that have been received (stored on the SIM card) are displayed in chronological order. The SMS received last will be first in the list. X Start the telephone mode. 5102 X Select the 0DLO entry. Notes: · 5HDG 6, 0 FDUG may be displayed until the data of the SIM card has been imported. · If there are no SMS present on the SIM card, 1R 606 is displayed. · If possible, the sender's name is displayed instead of the phone numbers (provided it is available on the SIM card or in the address book). · Unread SMS are displayed at the top of the list and identified by the symbol. The text of the SMS is displayed. In addition, you will be provided with information on the date and time sent as well as on the sender's details (the name if available, otherwise the number). Notes: · You can have the SMS read aloud by selecting the 5HDG RXW entry. · By selecting the 2SWLRQV entry you can switch to the functions described in "Options for SMS read aloud" on page 122.
