You have just acquired a BRANDT washing machine and we would like to thank you. We have invested all our dedication and know-how in this appliance so that it would best meet your needs. [. . . ] NB: The "Finishing Time" remains fixed until the end of the programme.
Information:
Certain occurrences during operation (for example: detection of imbalance, foam, etc. ) can cause the cycle's duration to vary. In this case, the "Finishing Time" is updated automatically.
·Setting a "Delayed Start":
-- If you prefer to delay the cycle by delaying the starting time, use button 6 to select the "Delayed Start" function . -- Use button 7 to set the delayed start's duration (this is set hour by hour, from 1 to 24 hours). NB: For a "Delayed Start" of more than 1 hour, the countdown is hour by hour up to 1 hour and then minute by minute. When the countdown is complete (when the cycle actually starts), the "Time Remaining" function is displayed.
·Displaying "Time Remaining":
-- If you are in "Finishing Time" mode button 6 to select this function. This provides:

·Selecting the type of textiles:
To select the type of textiles or a particular programme (Rinse, Spin, etc. ), turn the knob 1 until the indicator light for the desired programme lights up (for more details, please refer to the section "PROGRAMME DETAILS").
·Setting the temperature:
When you have selected the type of textiles or a particular programme, your washing machine proposes the most suitable washing temperature for the programme. You can alter the suggested temperature by repeatedly pressing button 3 briefly.
·Setting the end of the cycle (spinning, draining, etc):
Your washing machine similarly automatically proposes the maximum authorised spin speed for the selected programme. By pressing briefly each time on button 4 : -- Either select a different spin speed A -- Or drip dry . Your machine will stop with the tub full of water before the final spin.

To select the options, press one or more of the "Options" buttons 5 (for more details, please refer to the section "DETAILS OF THE OPTIONS").

·Programming a washing cycle:
-- Press the "On/Off" button 8 .
Display
The indicator lights for the programme, the temperature, drying and the options most often used are lit, plus, on the screen: The "Finishing Time" or the "Remaining Time" for the suggested programme.
-- If the suggested programme does not suit you, turn the knob 1 to select a new washing programme. ·Adding or removing an item during the cycle (impossible during spinning):
-- Press the "Start/Pause" 2 button to interrupt the cycle. The "Pause" segment flashes, as well as the cycle progress segment lit at the time this option was selected, whether the display is in "Finishing Time" or "Remaining Time" operation. (*) It may take 1 or 2 minutes for the lid to unlock NB: If you have selected a delayed washing cycle (in "Finishing Time" or "Delayed Start" mode), you can access the drum immediately at any time during the phase before the washing cycle starts without having to interrupt and restart the cycle.
·Cancelling while programming or washing or during a pause:
-- Press the "On/Off" button 8 . This operation can be performed during programming, during the waiting period before the cycle actually starts and throughout the whole washing cycle. NB: Cancellation requires you, in all the cases, to reprogramme everything from the start. If you have cancelled during washing, remember to drain away the water if necessary.
·End of the cycle:
NB: After spinning, your washing machine automatically positions the drum opening at the top to provide easy access to the washing. -- Then, the screen shows "Stop", indicating the end of the cycle. [. . . ] Your machine automatically detects some operating incidents and indicates these by particular messages shown on the screen.

When the water tap is still closed: -- A few minutes after the washing cycle starts: - The cycle stops, - The incident warning signal is displayed and the message d01 flashes, - The third segment from the left in the lower section remains constantly lit, - A continuous "Beep" is emitted. -- If you have selected a delayed washing cycle, the time counts down until the cycle starts and no signals are issued during this countdown period. -- If you see and/or hear these signals: - Open the water tap, - Press the "Start/Pause" button to make the signals disappear - The cycle will restart.
