Peel the potatoes and cut into pieces to fit the food chute. Peel and trim the vegetables and fruit, cutting them so they are even in height. Packing vertically into the food chute will give shorter shreds than packing horizontally. Process by using light pressure on the food pusher to prevent the cheese crumbling. Break chocolate into pieces to fit the food chute and process by using firm pressure on the food pusher.
