[. . . ] CARVIN ENGINEERING DATA B400 Battery Kit for StageMateTM S400/S400D Installation Instructions The B400 Battery Kit is for replacing a worn battery in a S400/S400D StageMateTM or use as a second battery to extend battery time. [. . . ] Observe the empty slot on the right bottom side of the cabinet and place the battery into position and install the L bracket that comes with the B400 kit to hold the battery in place. The original battery on the left has spare terminals for connecting the second battery. Simply connect the supplied B400 battery wires to the negative and positive terminals on the original battery. REPLACING THE BATTERY After a few years of use, if you notice your operation time has been greatly reduced, you will need to replace the battery as the cells may have weakened with age.
