TRIMPOTS: Individual trim pots for each string. [. . . ] (Your bass will function in passive mode even with dead or missing batteries). (7kHz) MAGNETIC PICKUP PAN CONTROL: Pan control, blends J99 neck and HB2 bridge pickups. MAGNETIC/PIEZO PICKUP PAN CONTROL: Blends J99 and HB2 magnetic pickups with Piezo pickups.

POP-UP BATTERY COMPARTMENTS
With 20 hours use per week, 9 volt alkaline batteries will last about six months. Lithium batteries will last about a year.
Important: Unplug instrument when not in use to eliminate battery drain.
If any minor distortion is detected when you play hard, then you should change the battery. Important: The pop-up compartments are designed so that the lids will close easily if the batteries are installed properly, with the positive terminal of the batteries matching that of the pop-up compartments. If you try to force the compartment lids shut with the battery terminals reversed, you may damage the electronic module. [. . . ] Always unplug your instrument from the amp when changing the batteries to prevent damage to your electronic module.
