[. . . ] POWER SUPPLY: Connect the supplied adapter to the side of the DVD player in the slot marked "Power In". If you have difficulty inserting the plug, turn it over and reinsert it, if the unit will not be used for a long time, disconnect the plug from the outlet. NOTE: Before plugging the power cord into an AC outlet, make sure that all the connections have been made. CAUTION: These servicing instructions are for use by qualified service personnel only. [. . . ] There are two methods to organize the saved stations: _ Use the / buttons to adjust the station number, and press the "SET" button again. _ Press the "SET" button again, the station will be automatically saved with the currently displayed preset station number. You can store radio stations from 0 to 19, total 20FM or 20AM radio stations. If no buttons are pressed within 3 seconds of pressing the "SET" button the first time, the frequency will appear on the display panel again, and the station will not be saved. Accessing memorized radio stations _ Use the number buttons on the remote control to input the preset number. Press the "ENTER" button for confirmation to go to the selected radio station directly, or simply wait a moment to go to the selected radio station. _ Press the /buttons on the remote control or front panel to select the radio stations forward and backward. When selecting the stations, the "CH XX" will appear on the display panel, where "XX" is the preset station number of the stored radio station. After a few seconds, the "CH XX" disappears and the radio frequency will be displayed. - 18 - TV Function Basic Operation Connect the antenna to the antenna jack on the rear panel. If the player is in standby mode, press the "POWER" button on the front panel to turn on the power. Press the / buttons on the remote control to select the desired channel. NOTE: The power on/off function is active as long as the unit is continuously supplied with power. The unit will automatically turn on at the set start time and turn off at the end time each day. - 22 - A/V Function A/V Function The player has an additional A/V input so it can function as a monitor for a VCR, satellite receiver, video games, etc. When an A/V source is connected, press the A/V button on the remote control to enter the external input A/V mode. Picture Parameter Setup Press the TV/LCD SETUP button once on remote control to enter the PICTURE setup menu, and screen will display as shown: PICTURE_ BRIGHTNESS __ CONTRAST ___ COLOR ENGLISH RESET 10 __ 10___ 10 LANGUAGE Use the _/_ buttons to select the item you want to set (Brightness, Contrast, Color). Use the _/_ buttons to select "Language", press the _/_ buttons to select the language you prefer. Select Reset and press the ENT or _ button to return to the factory default settings. Use the _/_ buttons to highlight "PICTURE", and press the _ button to exit from the setup menu. NOTE: In the A/V mode, if there is no signal, the LCD screen will be blue. _ EXIT - 23 - Play Operation Preparation 1. After connecting the unit to the AC power, turn on the unit's power by pressing the "POWER" button on the front panel or the remote control. Press the "DVD" button on the remote control or the "SOURCE" button on the player to switch to the DVD mode. The player will automatically read the disc and start playback. DVD Playback Menu Many DVD discs have a main menu. Use the direction buttons to highlight an item you would like to select. To avoid the possibility of others using the default password to set the parental level and change the password, you can record this default password in another area and delete it from this manual. Default Reset Use this function to reset the unit to the factory default settings. NOTE: For preference settings, the unit must be in the stop mode.
