Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding type plug. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. [. . . ] Place the battery into its cradle and assign the battery hook to the hole. Hold down the battery to restrain it from spring-up, meanwhile, slide it to arrow direction to lock it . To charge the battery pack, attach the battery pack to the main unit and power on the player by AC adapter. To remove the battery pack, hold down PUSH/RELEASE button and counter slide the battery.

Basic Playback 1. (If close the cover during playback, the LCD display will be OFF for power saving). Load a disc Press the OPEN button to open the disc lid and insert a disc with the label up. If the single sided disc is placed in upside down, " NO DISC " or " BAD DISC " will appear on the on TV screen. After playing back all of the chapters in the title, the DVD player stops automatically and shows the menu screen.

Slow Press up/down direction button to select the desired item, press left/right direction button to make adjustment. When SCREEN is selected, press left/right button to change screen dimension as 16:9 or 4:3. When RESET is selected, press Enter button to confirm, the above three control bar will be reverted to the default. Play X1/2 X1/4 X1/8 X1/16 X1/32 NOTE: The player is muted at SLOW mode. While at 150% or 200%, press the direction button to move the picture position.
For DVD playback: While playing a DVD disc that contains multiple languages, press the AUDIO button repeatedly to select the desired language of the audio sound track. For CD/MP3 playback: Press the AUDIO button repeatedly to shift among R/R, L/R, and L/L. The default AUDIO setting is L/R.
Press PLAY to resume normal playback. The player will not fast forward or fast backward during WARNING section of a DVD disc.
NOTE: If the desired language is not selected even after pressing the button several times, it means that the language is not available on the disc. When the power is turned on or the disc is removed, the language heard is the one selected at the initial settings.
NOTE: The picture quality decreases as the picture size increases.

Program To play a disc in a desired sequence. NOTE: The Program function is available just as the player is in Navigate Off mode. Press the PBC button to set Navigate Off.

Various features of the DVD player can be adjusted in the Setup Menu. Or press UP/DOWN to select the EXIT menu.

16:9 (Wide Screen): This is selected when the unit is connected to a wide-screen TV. The default setting is 4:3 LB NOTE: Certain DVD discs are formatted in wide screen (16:9) or letter box (4:3) only. Adjusting the setting of the disc player will not change the screen size for these "Format-only" discs. Screen Saver Press the UP/DOWN button to shift between Screen Saver ON and OFF.
