If the existing lenses have become melted, replacements are available from Weaver Models. Dabs of hot melt, or tape, can be used to secure the wires to the plastic shell. When mounting the LocomaticTM unit in the chassis you must remove the weight. Extra 1/8" double sided foam tape is available, item #388, for this and other purposes. The unit must also be mounted almost flush to the first two molded sprues.
