Mounting the Feet
Attach the feet to the bottom of the set at points approximately 20 mm from the edges (for both sides). Remove the protective sheets from the bottom of the feet, and press on them from the top with sufficient strength to attach them. Note If intending to install the unit(s) in a rack, do not install the feet.
Turn the unit over, and then attach the feet approximately 20 mm from the corner points of the unit
Mounting the DN-V755 on a Rack
The DN-V755 is of 1U size, allowing it to be mounted in EIA standard 19" racks. Notes There are different mounting kits for each of the following configurations: · · Two DN-V755 units mounted in the 1U space of a 19" rack. A single DN-V755 unit mounted in the 1U space of a 19" rack.
When mounting the DN-V755 on a rack, use guide rails or shelf boards, etc. , on the rack side to prevent weight from being applied to the front of the DN-V755. For example, take care to protect the DN-V755 from heat from other devices. The surrounding conditions must meet the following specifications:

Connecting the AC Adapter
1. Insert the power cord's plug into the AC adapter's AC inlet side.
3. To prevent the DC plug from being accidentally disconnected, mount the DC plug retainer clip using the included screw.

Connecting the DN-V755 to a Computer
To access the user application that allows you to control your DN-V755, you must connect your unit to a computer. You can connect to a computer in any of the following ways: · · · Through a corporate network Through a home network using a router or switch Directly to a computer using an Ethernet cross-over cable
In most cases, once you connect to a computer and turn the unit on, the unit is ready to use. Whether connected through a network or directly to your computer, the unit appears as an external network drive on the computer's file system in a special folder called Workgroup. The unit's default name is MediaPlayer followed by four digits, such as 1234. Note You can rename the unit, or configure network settings manually, once you have access to the application. Serial Responses
The DN-V755 responds to any command that it receives. If the command is successful, the DN-V755 sends an "acknowledge" message that begins with $r followed by the original command. [. . . ]
