CONTROLS LEVEL: Controls the output level when the effect is on. Use the LEVEL control to match the effect volume with the bypass volume. So, the QUARTS control will have to be adjusted to compensate for the lost volume. Expansion will increase the high frequency content depending how hard you play. Turn the HI EXP control up for more expansion, and down for no high frequency expansion. LED INDICATOR: Lights when the distortion is enabled, and is not lit when the effect is bypassed.
