LCD5501Z Keypad LCD5501Z Keypad: The LCD5501Z keypad shows the status of your security system using an LCD, along with fixed words and numbers. 10 Programming codes from an LCD Keypad: Master Code Press the [D] key to enter the function list. User Code 01P Be sure to record your new Master Code on the "System Information" page in this booklet. NOTE: We recommend that the factory default Master Code [1234] not be used. For more information regarding access code attributes, please contact your installer. Partition Master Codes If your system is partitioned, you can have a master code for each partition. Partition 1 master code is access code 41, partition 2 master code is access code 42. 11 Zone Bypassing The zone bypassing function is used when access is needed to part of the protected area while the system is armed. Zones which are temporarily out of service due to damaged wiring or contacts may be bypassed to allow system arming until repairs can be made. Bypassed zones are automatically cancelled each time the system is disarmed and must be reapplied before the next arming.
