[. . . ] Pressing MENU/NEXT or entering data moves the cursor to the next parameter digit. To move to another item within the current group, press SELECT and then MENU/NEXT or Q to scroll forwards and backwards through the available options. For example, if zone 1 is selected, the zone number flashes when SELECT is pressed. MENU/NEXT and Q enable you to scroll forward and backwards through the zones. For the modifications to take effect, disconnect and reconnect both AC and battery power supplies. Note: The system allows two minutes to begin programming before automatically exiting programming mode. Programming mode is immediately aborted if the control panel is in communication (both incoming and outgoing calls). To move to the next digit without entering a modification, press MENU/NEXT. Entering Hex data Pressing # scrolls through the hexadecimal digits A, B, C, D, E and F. If the original digit is decimal (0-9), press # to change the digit to A. If the original digit is hexadecimal (A-F), press # to move to the next hexadecimal digit in sequence. 4. 4: Programming Parameters This section comprises a complete listing of the Summit 3208GLD control panel's programming parameters. Entry delay options #1, #2 and #3 are set at addresses 382, 383 and 384, respectively. The four custom LCD messages can be programmed at addresses 412-475.
