Push together and twist the electrode connector 1/2 turn until it clicks into place. Buffer Set selections: To choose USA (pH 4. 01, 7. 00, 10. 01) or NIST (pH 4. 01, 6. 86, 9. 18) buffers: 1. Press HOLD/CON to confirm. Calibration: Calibration should be done regularly, typically every day that the tester is used. After at least 3 minutes, press the HOLD/CON button to confirm calibration. The display will show 'CO' and then switch to the buffer value reading. Calibration Troubleshooting: Failure to press HOLD/CON to confirm calibration (step 4 above). Pressing the CAL button will resume measuring mode but will not enter the calibration value.
