Where multiple runways or transitions are associated with the departure procedure, that information can also be displayed. A map image provides a layout diagram for each departure, runway, and transition. NOTE: `ALL' may appear in the runway field, indicating the departure procedure applies to all runways. For airports with parallel runways, `B' may appear at the end of the runway designation to indicate the departure procedure applies to both runways The Departure Information page displays the following information about a selected airport: · Map showing the selected departure · Associated airport identifier · Airport symbol · Airport usage (e. g. private, public, military, heliport) · Facility name · Airport location (e. g. city, state) · Available departures · Runways served by the selected departure · Available transitions for the selected departure and runway · List of legs in the departure sequence including: · Leg starting waypoint 5-56 Garmin G1000 Pilot's Guide for the Diamond DA42 190-00649-00 Rev. The departure procedure is displayed as part of the overall flight plan and is placed in front of the enroute flight plan. Viewing departure airport: 1) Select the Departure Information Page. The Departure Airport Page is displayed. Viewing recent airport list: 1) Select the Departure Information Page. The Airport Information page for the selected airport is displayed. Viewing info: 1) Select the Departure Information Page. The Airport Information Page is displayed. . Viewing arrival: 1) Select the Departure Information Page. The Approach Information Page is displayed. Viewing weather: 1) Select the Departure Information Page. 4) The Weather Information Page is displayed. OTHER OPERATIONS From the Departure Information Page Map the pilot can create user waypoints and access the checklist if one is installed. Creating user waypoints using the Departure Information Page Map: 1) With the Departure Information Page displayed, push the Joystick to activate the panning function. 2) After placing the pointer at the desired position, press the ENT Key. The User Waypoint Information Page is now displayed with the captured position. [. . . ] This is often the case in mountainous regions. TIS information is collected during a single radar sweep. Collected information is then sent through the Mode S uplink on the next radar sweep. Because of this, the surveillance information is approximately five seconds old. TIS ground station tracking software uses prediction algorithms to compensate for this delay. [. . . ]
