Compare this illustration with your generator to familiarize yourself with the location of these connections. Count down to the proper pin location on the control board since visual alignment with the decal can be misleading: A - fault contacts--UseNO, COMandNCtohookupa siren, light, etc. Contacts reverse state (NO goes to NC and vice versa) upon a fault condition. B - transfer switch communication--Connecttotransfer switch control board for communication interface using 18AWG copper twisted pair wire. With the system switch in auto position, remove one of the fuses from the transfer switch. Carefully reinstall the fuse in the transfer switch, then turn the system switch to off for 30 seconds to clear the fault.
