When Air is selected, the TV will detect antenna signals and will search for antenna TV (NTSC and ATSC) channels available in your local area. When Cable is selected, the TV will detect cable company supplied signals and will search for cable TV (NTSC, ATSC, QAM modulated) channels available in your area. Make sure that registration with your cable TV provider and connection of equipment are completed. When Air and Cable are selected, the TV will detect the antenna signals and cable company supplied signals, and search for the antenna TV and cable TV channels available in your area. Color Sys. Switch A B C AUTO M/N 49. 75MHz Off Cable STD Note : the tuning menu will be only operated in normal TV mode. CATV Type 1 Press MENU button and then use VOL+/- button to select the SYS. 2 Press CH+/- buttons to select "CATV Type" item. 3 Press VOL+ button to select STD, IRC or HRC item. Note: STD, HRC and IRC identify various types of cable TV systems. Contact your local cable company to identify the type of cable system that exists in your particular area. Automatic Scan 1 Press MENU button and then use VOL+/- button to select the SYS. 2 Press CH+/- buttons to select "Auto Scan" item. 3 Press VOL+ button to ensure automatic search function work. 4 Press MENU button to stop automatic search function. Switch A B C AUTO M/N 49. 75MHz Off Cable STD Skip After the programs are presetting, you can skip some programs so that to select your favorite channels only. Press CH+/- button or Direct-digit choosing button to select a channel directly. When you are satisfied with your choice, press MENU button to return to the previous menu or press EXIT button to return to TV viewing. If you want to recover the skipped channel 1. Use Direct-digit Choosing button to select the number of the channel to be recovered. [. . . ] 4:3 mode Choose 4:3 mode when you want to view a picture with an original 4:3 aspect ratio, with black bars appearing at both the left and right sides. Full screen( correspond with 16:9) Choose Full screen when you want to adjust the picture horizontally, in a linear proportion to fill the entire screen. one to one Choose one to one when you want to adjust the picture in real proportion, (Only available in PC signal, especial for 800X600 mode and modes of under it ) Vertical Zoom Choose Vertical Zoom when you want to adjust the picture the picture vertically, that is without any back bars. Half Zoom Choose Half Zoom when you want to enlarge the picture vertically by enlarge top of the picture, that is the letters on the bottom are still on the screen. [. . . ]
