During the automatic defrost cycle, ice build-up on the rear interior wall of the compartment will melt and drip into the water-collecting tray and then evaporate naturally. Before using any cleaning product, always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions and warnings to avoid personal injury and/or product damage. Note: It is best to clean the dispenser and its surrounding area in between replacing the empty bottle with a new one. This way you can move the unit easily without the weight of the bottle. Before cleaning, place the dust cover on top of the water guard to prevent dust and debris from going into the dispenser while cleaning. â· Prepare a cleaning solution of 3-4 tablespoons of baking soda mixed with warm water. Use a sponge or a soft cloth dampened with the cleaning solution to wipe down the unit. â· Wipe with clean warm water and dry with a soft cloth.
