[. . . ] Use an audio cable and the Audio Out connectors on the back of the TV to provide an analog audio signal to an external sound system, such as an analog amplifier or stereo system. 2 Connect power to the TV; see "Connecting power 4 Connect power and turn on the external sound CAUTION: Unplug power for the TV and all connected components before connecting an external sound system. Image retention protection: If still image data displays for more than a few minutes, the image retention prevention function activates automatically to protect the screen.
