[. . . ] Please read these instructions carefully and make sure you understand them before using this machine. ⷠNever allow children or people unfamiliar with the instructions to use the lawnmower. ⷠNever mow while people, especially children, or pets are nearby. ⷠKeep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property. [. . . ] Ensure that the cutting unit is raised to the highest position and that the control for connection/disconnection of the cutting unit is in the disconnection position. The machine is equipped with a safety switch which immediately breaks the current to the engine if the driver leaves the seat with engine running and with the connection/disconnection control in position "connection". Your machine is also equipped with a system that will not allow mower to operate if the bagger or optional rear discharge deflector is not installed properly. If the engine will not start, wait about 10 seconds before the next try. Let the ignition key return to the "ON" position when the engine has started Push the gas control to the required speed. To ensure proper operation and performance, it is recommended that the transmission be purged before operating tractor for the first time. Begin with a high cutting height and reduce until the required cutting result is obtained. The cutting result is best with high engine speed (blades rotate quickly) and low gear (machine goes slowly). If the grass is not too long and thick the drive speed can be increased by selecting a higher gear or increasing the motor speed, without affecting the cutting result. Cutting becomes more even and the cut grass is more evenly distributed over the surface. Total time taken is not greater, since higher drive speed can be selected without affecting the cutting results. The cutting results will be worse since the wheels will sink into the soft lawn. ⷠTo continue mowing, be sure bagger is down and in proper operating position which will allow mower to operate. Insert plug assembly through back plate and into the mower deck chute adaptor. ⷠRetain the plug assembly by connecting the two straps into the holes provided on the bagger support arms. Insert the discharge chute into the opening in the backplate and onto the mower deck adaptor. Switching off the engine move the attachment clutch control to disengaged position. Move the throttle control between half and full speed (fast) position. Lift up the cutting unit and turn the ignition key to "STOP" position. Do not leave the ignition key in the machine when not in use to prevent children and other unauthorized persons starting the engine. Before servicing the engine or cutting unit the following shall be carried out: · Grasp hood at sides, tilt forward and lift off of tractor. NOTE: Periodic maintenance should be performed on a regular basis in order to keep your tractor in good running condition. [. . . ] Do not attempt to clean fan or transmission while engine is running or while the transmission is hot. ⷠInspect cooling fan to be sure fan blades are intact and clean. TRANSAXLE PUMP FLUID The transaxle was sealed at the factory and fluid maintenance is not required.
