Each cable can be used to connect a single internal SATA drive to the Desktop Board. Attach one end of the SATA cable to one of the SATA connectors on the board (Figure 20, A) and attach the other end of the cable to the SATA drive (Figure 20, B). Figure 20. Table 7 shows the pin assignments and signal names for HD Audio and Table 8 shows the pin assignments and signal names for AC'97 Audio. A Front Panel Audio Select jumper block is provided on the Desktop Board (see Figure 1, BB). Use the jumper to switch the header from the HD Audio pinout to the AC '97 pinout.
