Thank you for purchasing the i. Sound® PocketDock and AC adapter.  [. . . ] For charging times,  please refer to the instruction manual that came with your iPod. 

POCKETDOCK: The PocketDock allows you to sync data and charge your 2nd gen iPod shuffle. Connect the USB cable from the PocketDock to any computer with a USB input. The PocketDock will charge your 2nd gen iPod shuffle whenever your computer is powered on. The PocketDock,  when used with a computer pre-loaded with iTunes,  will allow for music and data transfer/syncing.
