DEAR JENSEN® CUSTOMER Selecting fine audio equipment such as the unit you've just purchased is only the start of your musical enjoyment. Now it's time to consider how you can maximize the fun and excitement your equipment offers. One that lets the sound come through loud and clear without annoying blaring or distortion and, most importantly, without affecting your sensitive hearing. Manufacturer is not responsible for the playability of CD-R/RW/MP3/WMA-CD due to recording conditions such as PC performance, writing software, media ability, etc. Do not attach a label or seal to either side of the CD-R/RW/MP3/WMA disc. The following procedures can be accomplished by using the remote or controls on the unit. 12 PLAYING A COMPACT DISC 1. Press the "OPEN/CLOSE" button on the main unit to open the CD door. Place a CD inside the tray with the printed side facing up and then close the CD door by pressing the " CD door OPEN/CLOSE " button again. DO NOT PUSH OR FORCE THE DOOR CLOSED WITH YOUR HAND OR USE ANY OTHER MEANS TO OPEN OR CLOSE IT. When the disc is loading, "TOC READ" will appear and flashing on the display. After a few seconds, the LCD display will show the total number of tracks and total playing time. Press the Play button to start playback, the first track will start playback. TO: PRESS: Stop play STOP Pause play PLAY/PAUSE Resume play after pause PLAY/PAUSE Scan forward or backward And hold SKIP UP or SKIP DOWN Skip single tracks SKIP UP or SKIP DOWN briefly Skip 10 tracks +10 / -10 (remote only) Skip folder(MP3 / WMA -CD only) FOLDER PRE-UP Control the volume VOL+ / VOLSwitch between the preset EQ PRESET EQ repeatedly (remote only) Stop output from speakers MUTE (remote only) Note: button to pause the CD playback, the play icon " " blinks on LCD to - Press the PLAY/PAUSE indicate the CD is in the pause mode. - "NO DISC" will be displayed when a CD is loaded up side down, or there is no CD inside. PLAYING A MP3/WMA DISC 1. After the disc loads, the total numbers of albums and total number of tracks will be shown on the LCD display. Press the FOLDER/ PRE or buttons on remote control to select the album number. The "MP3" icon will appear on the LCD display for MP3 format music while and the "WMA" icon for WMA format music. CD PLAY MODE With this function, you can select desired CD playback mode by pressing the PLAY MODE button on remote control repeatedly: CD REPEAT 1 REPEAT ALL TRACK RANDOM OFF MODE PLAY MODE REPEAT TRACK REPEAT ALL RANDOM OFF MODE INDICATOR ON LCD DISPLAY FLASHING LIGHTS STEADILY RAN 13 MP3/WMA CD REPEAT 1 REPEAT 1 FOLER REPEAT ALL TRACKS OFF MODE PLAY MODE REPEAT SINGLE TRACK REPEAT SINGLE FOLDER REPEAT ALL TRACKS RANDOM MODE OFF MODE INDICATOR ON LCD DISPLAY FLASHING LIGHTS STEADILY RAN RANDOM ID3 DISPLAY (FOR MP3-CD ONLY) This unit supports ID3 tag display when playing an MP3 - CD if the MP3 files on the disc have this information included. During MP3 CD playback mode, press the ID3 button on remote control once, the ID3 icon will appear on the LCD display, and the title of the song, artist and the album will show on LCD. Press this button again to resume showing the album and track number, the ID3 icon will disappear. COMPACT DISC CARE 19 CLEANING THE UNIT To prevent fire or shock hazard, disconnect your unit from the AC power source when cleaning. The finish on the unit may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared for as other furniture, Use caution when cleaning and wiping the plastic parts. If the front panel becomes dirty or smudged with fingerprints it may be cleaned with a soft cloth slightly dampened with a mild soap and water solution. Never use abrasive cloths or polishes as these will damage the finish of your unit. CAUTION: Never allow any water or other liquids to get inside the unit while cleaning.
