Customizing Your Copy Stapling Copies Manual Stapling (Only available if finisher FN-5 is installed. ) Manually staple your copy sets.
Note the following important information!Paper sizes: Staple capacity: A3 L to A4 2 to 50 sheets (80g/m2)

1 Open the cover for the staple tray
(FN10).
2 Carefully align the papers you are
stapling. You can staple up to 50 sheets (80g/m2) at once.
3 Place the stack of paper into the
staple tray according the stapling position. Align the stack of paper up to the rear edge of the finisher.

4 Set the paper guides for the paper
size. Be sure the paper guides are flush up against the stack of paper.
Customizing Your Copy
5 Carefully close the cover of the
staple tray (FN10). The finisher prepares for the staple cycle, which can be heard clearly. Do not carry out step 6 until the finisher stops making noise, indicating that the preparation phase is complete.
6 Select the staple position on the
finisher's control panel.
7 Start the staple cycle by pressing
the staple button.

8 Open the cover for the staple tray
(FN10). Remove the stapled stack of paper.
9 Close the cover of the staple tray
(FN10).

Have holes punched in your copies.
